Lineable is an app that lets you protect your kids and also help protect other kids as well. The app uses bluetooth technology to connect with a Lineable smart band.

Lineable uses crowd sourcing GPS to locate your child. The app locates nearby Lineable smart bands and sends the location to protectors. Through ‘Crowdsourcing GPS,’ you can track your child’s location.

I just downloaded the app and I was going through the tutorial and it froze up on me. Frustrated!!! I really hope that I can get it working as this seems like a great idea and I have my Lineable band already.
I bought a couple of these for my young children and have just used them for a weekend trip. My observations: - Range seemed reasonable considering g this uses Bluetooth instead of GPS - Had numerous false alarms/disconnects, but they didnt really bother me, just made me make sure I had a visual on my kid and it almost always reconnected within a minute. - The "alarm" feature for when a child gets out of range is just a text notification. With my phone in my pocket and the ringer set to off I couldnt feel the notifications. - Similarly, I feel that if you need instant notifications of your child being out-of-range (which to me is what this is all about), you would need to receive that notification on your wrist. Hence my desire to have an Apple Watch-compatible version of this app. - The setup was easy enough once you let the app guide you through it. The printed documentation didnt provide hardly any details, so just rely on the app. An okay, inexpensive implementation that has room to grow into something great.
Just received our Lineables. Currently having issue where the app starts searching for the band even though its was just connected and hasnt moved away from my phone. So the Lineable is sitting less then 1 foot away from the phone. It has a connection then a few seconds later goes to search for it and cant find it. Alarm goes off. This wont work for us. Please fix.
